GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING COLOR

Overview of Instructions
The main points to creating a successful profile are:

1. Make sure your printer is working properly

2. Test the ink and media.
  a) Dry time is set and noted
  b) No Banding or other printer flaws
  c) No pooling or fish eyes

3. Print a Proof Print without any profile attached (All Profiles Off)
  a)If your gray colors have shifted to a tone (like yellow), adjust print color density and reprint.
  b)Or use your Rip software to Linearize Printer.

4. Follow instruction included with EPS files (Size Matters)
  a)18.42 X 30.48cm or 12? X 7.25?
  b)Print multiple copies across the width of the media

5. Before you send in the targets make sure they:
  a)Are the right size (see instructions)
  b)Show no printing flaws
  c)Are completely dry
  d)Are labeled with the following information
